Model Manager and Web Services
Has anyone been able to successfully use Web Services via perl and SOAP? We would like to be able to do this, but would certainly like to leverage what we can as well.

Re: Special Modeling PE Anniversary offer!
Is this $1000 to upgrade and $1430 to both upgrade and receive 1 years maintenance, or an additional $1430 on top of the $1000 (for a total of $2430) to get the upgrade + maintenance? Just want it to...

I'm wondering if anyone from CoCreate might have attended the CAD '07 conference, or is planning on attending the CAD '08 one. See http://www.cadconferences.com/ for more information. Seems like the...

Re: Comparing 3D Models to 3D Scanner Data?
John,
Here's a few links you can check out. This is from an email I sent back in 2006 to one of our engineers that was looking for some reverse engineering tools for documenting gundrill tools....

Re: OneSpace vs. SolidWorks
I encourage folks to look at a brand new 3D CAD Modeler from SpaceClaim. I say this not to suggest that you necessarily jump from OSM to SpaceClaim, but to reinforce the value of dynamic modeling....

I just happened to be using the side-to-side movement on my mouse to pan back and forth on a very large image that I was zoomed into in my web browser, and found it very useful for that purpose. I...

Re: Numbers of characters
I don't know the answer to this one, but I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that there's a limit right around 256 characters or so... And, of course, even if the limit is above that, I'd expect...

Re: 24" or Dual 19
Definitely some tough choices. If I was doing CAD work the majority of the time, I'd probably go for one very large screen. The guy that sits next to me has a 31" LCD monitor for just this reason.

Re: Dynamic move face - with intelligence
Wow, that would indeed be awesome! A way to include a little bit of history/parameterization and thus, design intent, in a dynamic way. I would highly encourage CoCreate to consider this feedback.
