I think you have to work with parametric module in CoCreate.
Forget 2D profiles, use them fast and furious, make a simply 3D model rusty and just "looks like", put parameter on the model and force...

Maybe you have CATCH AREA setting larger of cursor simbol.
OSDD can "see" the line before you are over it with the cursor.
Try to set both (cursor and box catching area) at the same value (8) and...

Can you tell us some about Vista OpenGl debate?
DX 10 (that seems able to emulate OpenGl calls) will came only for Vista and XP will be no longer supported on new graphics library.

Can we lock the menus (this one like in the pic)?

It seems, sometimes, Annotation (14) forgets default setting on hatches.
When it happens, you have to reselect it, to move it back in the right color.
Is this known like a bug?
