Quick correction, the value is what I type in the field for the Masterdata of the part in the drawing. TB:P_LI_MATERIAL is the type.

Could you give me the complete line of code for what you used? I tried:

(display (oli:sd-db-element-exists :identifier "part#,?" :database-type :model))

and get nil with the ",?"...
