ERP Adaptor released by CSI

CSI has released ERP Adaptor for PTC CoCreate Model Manager.
To extend the base functionailty of Model Manager further, CSI have released ERP Adaptor. The ERP Adaptor allows you to control and configure the transfer of CAD structure and BOM information downstream from PTC CoCreate Model Manager to your Enterprise systems.

Automated data transfer on CAD data release gives immediate access to essential information throughout the enterprise, with controlled manual transfers allowing early access to the data in the event of long lead times.

When an ERP transfer is initiated, the user ID and date of the transfer is recorded, giving immediate traceability within the system. Easily configurable by an administrator, who can set rules to meet appropriate business needs including output location, groups allowed to make manual transfers, whether automatic transfer is allowed, the state change that triggers this and whether native files and attachments are to be transferred.

Re: ERP Adaptor released by CSI

This thread was moved from the Regional User Groups forum to the 3rd-Party Software and Services forum because that seems to be a better fit. There is a one month redirect in the original forum. If the original poster disagrees with this move please contact me.

Re: ERP Adaptor released by CSI

What are the ERP application tools (e.g. SAP ERP, Oracle ERP and etc) supported by CSI ERP Adaptor for PTC CoCreate Model Manager product?

Also, help me understand what are differences between CSI ERP Adaptor product versus SE CoCreate Integration for SAP ERP as below?

Re: ERP Adaptor released by CSI

Dear Teh Tiak Ein

Thanks for your question. The Model Manager ERP Adaptor is a generic easy to use tool that allows users to transfer part and BOM information out of Model Manager to other business systems either by right click menu option of automatically when the status of a part is changed to released. The SAP Adaptor is a specific direct interface between Model Manager and SAP.

If you visit the following page you will see an overview movie of the solution, this should make things clear, if not please make contact.

We also have many other solutions that enhance and extend the CoCreate Model Manager solution.

If you would like a live demonstration or conference call please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards, Joe
