Arrow LISP - Delete duplicate curves ...

In AutoCAD, there are a few LISP programs for removing identical curves that sit upon curves or removing other shorter curves totally underneath longer ones. The programs are ... DELDUP.LSP, Duplicate-line-removale.lsp, and DupRem.Lsp.

I have a 2D DWG plant layout file imported from AutoCAD 2007 LT. The file is 66Mb in size. So many lines upon lines are duplicated in this file. I would like to downsize to the lines that are fully displayed and not the ones underneath them. Does COCREATE have a LISP program that does the same thing ???

Upon doing a search here, nothing really turned up for "LISP delete" or "LISP duplicate"

Re: LISP - Delete duplicate curves ...

Wow about 30 people read this thread but no answer yet. Bummer.

I can not run the AutoCAD LISP programs because the version we have is AutoCAD LT. If it was the full version, I would run these LISPs.

So, no CoCreate LSIP even exist for doing anything like this or something similar? This is really hard to believe.

Is there something in CoCreate itself that can do this without LISP ???

Re: LISP - Delete duplicate curves ...

Nothing is set up to remove duplicate or stacked geometry in CoCreate Modeling/Annotation. You can clean duplicate data in CoCreate Drafting.
Load your DXF/DWG file, then save it as MI. Load the .mi file and make sure you have the Check 2D option selected. This may clean up some of your data immediately.
NEXT
Select Parametric-->Clean. In there, you can clean duplicate points duplicated geometry and stacked geometry.

I had looked in the Edit > Settings to check this 2D option. Nothing under any of the settings there provided this.

There is nothing called Parametric.

Re: LISP - Delete duplicate curves ...

All these settings are found in CoCreate Drafting, not Modeling.
Check 2D is a switch found in the File-->Open dialog box.

Re: LISP - Delete duplicate curves ...

OK, so I need to run the old software called ME10 Drafting to do this. I avoided trying to use that software. All it ever does is beep at me.
