Need a hitman?
I blend in as Dilbert in your company and do the job... No sweat . The pencil is a mighty weapon. (In the eye).

Re: Blend is not possible why?
CoCreate Modeling 2008 no longer needs an insert blend command. (which is what is needed in the problem shown) The blending software decides automatically how to deal with existing affected blends. You also have affected control options so you can decide how you want to deal with existing blends if the default behavior is not what you want.

Re: Blend is not possible why?
The support is over now and I got stuck with 15.0c.
The following is what I got and I needed to reduce the blend radius from 2 to 1.999 for example. Is this the only workaround? Besides, updating to 2008.

Re: Blend is not possible why?
The error message is pretty specific and should tell you enough about your problem that you can modify the part to make it blend. Unfortunately, the error message covers up the viewport so we cannot see the real problem. Usually when a blend fails, the part that failed will show an error label.
Maybe you can section out a chunk of the part that cannot be blended and upload it to this thread so we can run some tests. |

Re: Blend is not possible why?
Sorry, I missed your post, Mike.
Today the frame body was made into ME10 drawing by my co-worker. He took off all the blend, because he could not pick any dimension at all. And he just put a comment " R2 all around the surrounding edge". Fortunately or the other way around, machine shop also told me that the frame welded is the only part which he cannot process with CAD data putting into automatic machine. Sheet metal, base plate with lots of threads and holes are all transferred to machine shop as a data than paper, today. .... I will try to show you later what was behind. Thanks Mike.
