DXF/DWG to MI Files and back again
I have come across a problem with the DXF/DWG translator. Maybe it was not set up correctly when installed. When DXF/DWG file are imported into ME10 I loose all line types. And this also when I export MI files to DXF/DWG Files. I believe it is just some settings to change, any pointer in the right direction will be helpful because I do a lot of translating of files between my company's two CAD systems.

re: DXF/DWG to MI Files and back again
A problem I had was from MI to DWG. When I translated the files, dotted or dashed lines looked like solid lines. If I looked at the properties in AutoCAD, it recognized them as the right line type, but just with a large spacing. What happened was that I translated the files with the units set to inches. This scales all the line types up by 25.4. The fix is to set the units to mm and then translate the file out. Let me know if this fixes your problem.
