Any trick to determine front direction with round part?

Hi.

Actually, the part I show here is purchased so I don't have to draw 2D drawing at all. But I wonder how I could determine the desired direction for this kind of shape.
Normally, I find a flat face where I can use the annotation's standard directional tools, but with this shape I need leave as it is since I cannot pick front direction from anywhere of the part.

Could you suggest any method?

Workplane on axis and then U,V,W.
X, Y and Z are always available if it's square to world origin.
Two points, select center and then outer edge.

Probably more but these are off of the top of my head.

Align your axis to the Z-axis, then in the front view direction selection, right click and select XYZ system => X-axis
