Get data from other source......
Thank you for the help in my begaining lisp programing, i'm hooked.
I would like to know where to start to have the varables of sd-defdialog command pulled from an excell spreadsheet or text file. so I have my ("MATERIAL") (vmat :range ( (0.264 :label "100 CAST IRON") ;; Engr Std and would like the list values imported from another document. Is it possible? where do i start? |

best might be to
a) export your XLS to csv format b) read csv into a logical/display table of OSDM c) on select of row in display table you feed the values via sd-put-buffer into the dialog the display table is used as an (show-)input-tool in this case. for reading the csv into your LTAB there's no function available. HTH
