Re: store select global all confirm issues

Easy answer ...

On that computer, do you have "Allow Indexing Service" turned on? To verify this, do a right-mouse-click on C: and do properties. Then look at the last box. Is that checked? If so, un-check that nasty thing. It will ask if you want to do all sub-folders and other areas, answer yes to that. Wait a few minuets for it to finish and then REBOOT. After that life on that machine will be much faster.

Re: store select global all confirm issues

good afternoon ... we have tried your suggest but nothing is changed ...
what we have note is that ... after the command store select global all confirm if tounch the system 9 on 10 the system answer do not respond ... but after can go at the end if i didn't touch nothing ... the new file is less bigger then the previous ...but if open the new one and I click save without add nothing the file grow up again ... example the new file is 400 kbyte and after the save is 2500 kb without do nothing ... seems that this command in some way freeze the system ... so is there another way to decrease the file space and clean up the project
?

thanks for the support and happy new year !

Andrea

Re: store select global all confirm issues

Please try entering the following command: PD_FREE NOBAN ALLTYPES CONFIRM
Then save the drawing and see if the file size decreases.

Re: store select global all confirm issues

Check your spelling. All input into drafting is considered a macro, so if the system does not understand what you entered, you will get a "the macro <macro name> is not defined" error. Use copy and paste from this thread to eliminate spelling problems.

If there are no spelling errors, then exit Drafting and edit the <drafting install directory\startup.m file.
Make sure that the following commands are not commented out.
Code:
Load_parametric_design
Enable_parametric_design
If they are commented out, they will look like this......
Code:
{Load_parametric_design}
{Enable_parametric_design}
