Angry Designer Drafting ME10AI Compiler

Hello all
I am trying to write some programs that interface with Designer Drafting(me10) and am using microsoft studio 2005. The problem is when i try to compile the example programs under /me10ui/examples i keep getting errors:
Error 1 fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'C:\Program.obj' DllMe10
Error 1 error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _me_new_command
referenced in function _init_load_init ME10DllTest.obj

can anyone please help me in setting up the compiler so that these examples will compile? or if any one has some .proj files that they can send me so i can see how the program is configured. Thank you in advance.

Andy

The error message seems to indicate a problem with search paths which include directories with blanks in their names ("C:\Program Files").

Are you using the makefile which ships with the sample code? I just tried it, and even though it reports a number of warnings, it does compile and link using the compiler and linker which ship with VS 2005.

Re: Designer Drafting ME10AI Compiler

I just tried to set up a VS 2005 project instead of using the makefile. When adding the reference to me10f.lib, I deliberately did NOT quote its path in my first attempt, and then ran into the same error messages as you did. Then I added quotes, and the code compiled and linked just fine. See attached screenshot.

Hope this helps,

Claus
