Re: How to make OSD font file?

OneSpace Drafting (OSD) has built-in font tools which are accessible per menu, if I remember correctly.

Re: How to make OSD font file?

As Claus indicated, you can create custom font files using the Font Editor in Drafting. However, I would recommend against creating custom fonts unless you have a good reason. By default when you save a drawing the font is not saved with it. If the drawing is opened by someone who does not have the same font loaded, the text will appear as rectangles. HP had some custom fonts for ME10 and it caused lots of support issues over the years.

The situation has improved because newer versions of Drafting can save the custom fonts with the file, but you have to remember to check the Add Fonts option when you save.

Also be aware that you can convert any Windows True Type font to a Drafting font. This occurs automatically in the background when you choose a Truetype font from the text menus, but can also be done manually with the CONVERT_TO_ME10_FONT command.
