Link between Model Manager file and Oracle vault file
Can anyone tell me how I can find out which file relates to in the Oracle vault. Right now I have 200,000 TIF files in the Model Manager database and I want to know what the Oracle file is.
Thank you. |

Re: Link between Model Manager file and Oracle vault file
Only $DOC type elements can have attached files. A $DOC element is uniquely identified by its ELID in WM_ELEMENTS. In the WM_FILES database table you may find all files attached to the ELID you're seeking. There may be 0, 1 or more files. Each file is identified by its FID. Along with its FID, a file has a PHYS_NAME (Physical name) that uniquely identify the file in the Model Manager vault. You may split the 14 chars PHYS_NAME into 123456\7\8\901234 to get the file path into the vault. But this file may be compressed and/or cpio (see WM_FILES.STORAGE_TYPE). And finally each file (FID) may have related files (WM_RELATED_FILES) attached (still using FID).
You may refer to Direct Manager Server 18.1\doc\C\schema to get more détails about the Model Manager schema. |
