PDF with ModelManager
Previously, in 15.50, wilfried_loewe made some lisp commands to produce good PDF in differents orientation. Since MM version 17, theses commands does not works anymore
This problem occurs when use plot on vertical frame. The new option "use sheet folio" should solve the orientation problem but in fact, this option is no persistant data. Then, when user restart the application, this option is not checked anymore. And this option does not fit the drawing in the frame. This option calculate max geometry size. Nobody have problem to plot PDF in vertical and horizontal orientation from MM ? Thanks for yours answers Last edited by Fred RINCE; 01-13-2011 at 11:31 PM. Reason: more infos |

Re: PDF with ModelManager
Hi to all,
let me give an update and solution to create PDF in ModelManager/DrawingManager in Rel. 17.x. There is a powerful new Command in Module MODEL2D: USE_SHEET_SETTINGS (Cmd: MODEL2D) Drafting $ Annotation, to get best results in PDF - also when using different frames in sheets. Notice: When using USE_SHEET_SETTINGS ON, be shure, that PLOT_SCALE ist set to value 1 !!! Tip: Have a look in PTC Knowledge Base - search for USE_SHEET_SETTINGS - or use this link: https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=151319 Solution for Drafting: Load the macrofile pdf.m from API - e. g. ui_cust.m Solution for Annotation: 1.) Load the Lispfile mm_customize_2D 2.) Compile the Java-Extention of OSD-Handler SAVE-PDF - see file CustomSavePDFHandler.java or copy the file pdf_ext.jar to ....\jar\custom 3.) Extend your XML-File - Example in in_xml.xml ... good luck ... |
