select a face and inquire the owner part

In a SD-DEFDIALOG I have a a :face variable (TEST_FACE), how can I inqure the part owner?

I try
(current_part(sd-call-cmds (get_selection :focus_type *sd-part-seltype* :select TEST_FACE) :failure nil))

but it not works

Try sd-inq-parent-obj (see IKIT documentation for details).

I thinked that 'sd-inq-parent-obj' works only with parts!!

There is definitely lots to learn! The integration kit is very flexible -- many of the functions can be used for almost any type of object!
