IGES translation

I work with the software ME10 rev10 (under windows NT 4 )and I would like to translate the MI file to IGES file. I use a macro for this. In fact, The translation seems to be OK but when I try to open the IGES file with the software called PATRAN (under Windows) I have the following error message: "The specified file \file_name.igs is not a valid fixed (80 character) line length ASCII format IGES file." May anyone see this before? And have a solution? Thanks in advance. Hdtoyo

re: IGES translation

You might check the IGESo.con file in the iges2d folder. It is a text file that is used to configure IGES output. Look for the "File Output format" line and change it from IGES to DOS. See it that helps.
