3.2.22 SD-START-DIALOG [global function]

Could somebody show me an example of the above function?
I've tried it under an after-input call and within my local function.

I am missing something and the help file does not help much.

I guess the piece you are missing is that the dialog which you call via sd-start-dialog must be of type :interrupt otherwise your calling dialog will terminate immediately. The documentation does not state this fact clearly.
All this function does is to call the interrupt dialog and to place the UI of that dialog relative to the UI of the calling dialog, nothing else.
