FE Analysis pivot

Hi!
I have a problem to model the pivot in FEA.

I don't know the condition (bind) to put in FEA to simulate a Pivot.

I attach the 3d model and also the design.

Thanks in advance.

Ciao

Re: FE Analysis pivot

The only way I know of to connect parts in the FEA module is a Mate Relation (Create LBC, Mechanical/Mat Reltn). However this is essentially welding the selected faces together, this would not simulate a rotating bearing contact which is what I think you have in your model. You might be able to simulate a rotating bearing connected to ground by using constraints on a cylindrical coordinate system. Otherwise I think you need a more sophisticated FEA tool to simulate your geometry.
