Setting default FEA Deformation Factor

I received this question from one of our users running Modeling version 17.

Quote:
When running an FEA the deflected image has the magnitude of the deflection scaled. Is there a way to set this scale to some default value? Most of the time I want it to be 1, but I always have to remember to manually set the "Deformed" factor to 1 after I run the simulation. If I modify something like a load and rerun the simulation I have to again set the deformed factor to 1.
He is talking about the Deformed display Factor value as shown in the attached image. Using the recorder I was able to find the setting used in the form which is:

DA_PP_DEFORMED_SET :da_scale_factor 1

but have no idea how to set the default. I know it's a long shot but thought I would try asking here.

Re: Setting default FEA Deformation Factor

Save a text file with the command you have listed and name the file da_customize. Put this file in your startup path in a folder called DesignAdvisor.

(da_pp_deformed_set :da_scale_factor 1)

Let me know if you need more details.
