.mi to .pdf?

I'm new to ME10 (release 10.50) and I have thousands of files that we need to be converted from .mi to .pdf. We're running windows 7. I've been looking into using macros to do a mass conversion of the files in the directory, or at least speed things up. However, it seems that UNIX is more open to macros. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about doing this?

Re: .mi to .pdf?

We've got a product called AI PDFAssistant that should do everything you need. You can even add watermarks to the PDFs as part of the conversion.

Send me a PM if you'd like more information.

Thanks!

Could you share some main features of this product?

Sure. Some of the highlights:
  • Batch conversion of all ME10-readable files (.mi, dxf, etc)
  • Full support of Annotation sheets - including multi-page PDFs
  • PDFs are 1:1 scale
  • Simultaneous conversion to DXF, DWG, DWF, IGES, etc formats, if desired
  • Option to add a watermark on each sheet if desired (i.e. "Confidential" etc)
  • Optional "Auto-Generate" capability: monitors an Input directory, and when a printable file is added to that directory, AI PDFAssistant will automatically convert it according to the specified options, putting the converted file(s) in a separate Output directory
  • and more!

Re: .mi to .pdf?

I am a newbie here. I do want to offer some help. But I am not a long-term worker dealing with the document and image conversion work. As for myself, I used to do the conversion work with the help of some fine 3rd party conversion SDKs according to its tutorials about how to convert document using C#.NET. I have only tested its free trial package, it worked well for me. It is one of many, but I do appreciate it so much because it is manual. Share with you, and I hope you success. Good luck.
