Re: Help:which macro language Does Me10 use?
It's using its own macro language
the INDEX for all the macro words/functions etc. you can find at <yourdrafting-installation-dir>/locale/en/me_help/me_frame.htm It's also available in the UI within Drafting, but I can not look for it. right now

Re: Help:which macro language Does Me10 use?
Did you install the CoCreate Drafting Manuals when you installed Drafting?
If not, you should........there is an entire section devoted to writing macros. Between that section of the Drafting Manual, and the Program Reference guide, which gives you all the command syntax, you will have everything you need. |

Re: Help:which macro language Does Me10 use?
Macro programming is pretty easy to learn if you have some programming experience. The syntax and structure are similar to traditional languages like Fortran, Basic, C.
In addition to the above good advice, I found it helpful to study examples. You can find some on this web site. http://www.cocreateusers.org/macros/macro.htm Really old and not updated in many years, but the macro language has not changed much either. Most of the buttons you click in Drafting actually run standard macros. You can view and study these standard macros. Use the TRACE command to record which macros are run by operations, then use the "EDIT_MACRO Macro_name" command to open a macro in a text editor. You can then save to a file and study or modify. The basic commands are listed in the Program Reference Guide which you can assess from the main Help menu while running Drafting. This provides details on the function and syntax of each command.

Re: Help:which macro language Does Me10 use?
If you type "edit_macro All" on the command line it will show almost every macro loaded in memory at that time.
What are you trying to do, maybe we could help you out? Bob
