Source for people models?

Looking for a source of CAD models of humans to include in system model to show sense of scale. Prefer adults, clothed, in either professorial or casual attire. I'l be using them in OneSpace, so native .pkg or common format such as STEP or IGES.

I have a couple from a colleague, but they have very coarse facets; another I found on the web looks like some robot from a bad sci-fi movie! Will be using the rendering module to generate views to help show management and clients how system will look, so looking for something that will ADD TO the system model and not detract from it because it looks crude or weird.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Rick

Re: Source for people models?

Thanks for the link... I tried downloading "Mann_Stuhl" in STEP format but OneSpace wouldn't open it (I'm running ver 15.5) and I don't have an extraction utility on my PC right now for the .tgz version.

Besides, I was hoping for something a little more "dressed" rather than a man in basically his underwear - but this model may be very useful for ergonomic and size comparison work.

3D Central has what you are looking for in both SolidWorks or ParaSolid formats. I've grabbed a few dozen people and other items from that site.

There are cars, trucks, jeeps and houses there too!

GearHeadOSU, If there are things you need over there, I can convert them into CoCreate for you.
